Welcome to Clear Recipe

A recipe site that respects your time: the recipe, the whole recipe, and nothing before the recipe.

Why we built this

Somewhere along the way, cooking from the internet became work. Popups covered the ingredients. Videos played themselves. A simple soup arrived wrapped in a childhood memoir, three ads, and a newsletter signup. We built the opposite. Open any page on Clear Recipe and you are cooking in seconds: a clear title, the ingredients, the steps, and photos that show you exactly what each step should look like.

What you get

The collection holds 10 recipes in 15 languages, every one with a photo of the finished dish. Step by step photos and start to finish videos are rolling out across the whole collection, dish by dish, until every recipe carries them. Times are honest, language is plain, and the page never moves while you read it. Try two favorites, embedded here the way every recipe on this blog works:

The heart of it

Clear Recipe is part of Clear, and Clear is a nonprofit. One hundred percent of the money Clear makes goes to orphanages in Bolivia and Ecuador. That is the whole business model: build the clearest, kindest corner of the web we can, and send what it earns to kids who need it. Every meal you cook from this site is part of that.

What happens here

This blog is where the collection gets a voice: seasonal gatherings like our Halloween collection, guides like our complete guide to baking bread, and new recipes as they land. A Thanksgiving collection is next, once this format is dialed in. Thanks for cooking with us.
